More Ways to Connect at Your Events
After hosting countless team building scavenger hunts, company offsites, and virtual team building activities with Thrillify, we kept hearing the same thing from our community:
Players wanted more ways to interact socially. Whether it was giving kudos for a clever challenge submission, leaving props for teammates, or just dropping a quick “hi” to coordinate a meetup, people were looking for easier ways to connect. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our latest update: Reactions and Comments 🎉
Why Reactions and Comments Matter
At small gatherings, you’ll likely be chatting directly with other players in person. But in large team building events, sprawling scavenger hunts, or virtual events spread across time zones, that’s not always possible.
Now, with Reactions and Comments, players can:
- Like or Super Like creative submissions to show appreciation (and maybe even get the Event admin to dish out some bonus points!).
- Dislike a submission if it seems to miss the spirit of the challenge. If it gets a bunch of dislikes, an Event admin might event take a closer look and remove some points!
- Comment on challenges to spark conversations, cheer teammates, or even coordinate in-person meetups.
This makes your event more than just a leaderboard and turns it into a social feed of shared experiences.

This feature was born directly from what our users told us:
- Corporate offsites needed lightweight ways to break the ice between departments.
- Large scavenger hunts required tools for players to coordinate across wide areas.
- Virtual team building events needed those “hallway moments” where casual connections happen naturally.
